One person died in a house fire in Dodge County. Shortly before 2am Friday firefighters were called to the scene on Kellom Road just north of the city of Beaver Dam to find the residence engulfed in flames. A man who was high on drugs when his car plowed into a Verizon phone store in Fond du Lac has been convicted. A decade after its inception an organization in Fond du Lac that placed nearly 800 rescued dogs and cats in safe and secure homes in 2024 has purchased it first permanent home.
