An Oakfield man was seriously injured in a fiery one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened at about 1am Thursday on County Highway I near Marsh Road. 9-26-24 fall kills climber from wisconsin and strands partner on wyoming’s devils tower

HULETT, Wyo. 9-26-24 local unemployment rate drops

The local unemployment rate was down last month after a temporary spike the month before  in Fond du Lac County.  The August unemployment rate in Fond du Lac County was 2.9 percent, down from 4.7 percent in July.  The city of Fond du Lac's jobless rate fell from 6.9 to 3.8 percent in August.  The jump in July was attributed to temporary layoffs at Mercury Marine and layoffs at Spectrum Charter Communications.  The […]

MADISON - High health care costs are hurting Wisconsin’s business climate and making employers less competitive. According to the Wisconsin Employer Survey, nearly half - 44 percent - of Badger State employers saw health care costs increase by more than 10 percent over the last year.
