8-30-24 fdl county resident dies from west nile virus

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has confirmed two Wisconsinites have died and another was hospitalized because of West Nile virus (WNV) illness. The first three human cases of West Nile in Wisconsin this year have been reported in residents of Outagamie, Fond du Lac, and Brown counties. 8-30-24 convicted child sex offender being released from custody

A convicted child sex offender from Dodge County is being released from custody.  Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt told residents at a community notification meeting this week that Garon Leitzke has been  granted supervised released and will be living at a residence on Highway 49 in Brownsville.   Leitzke spent time in prison for a 2002 conviction of  First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Repeated Sexual Assault of a Child.    Conditions of his […]

MADISON, Wis. – The 20th report from the federal court-appointed monitor for Lincoln Hills School/Copper Lake School (LHS/CLS) was filed Tuesday.
