7-30-24 victim of fatal crash in dodge county identified

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal one vehicle crash in Dodge County.  According to the Sheriff's Office 62 year old Lori Williams from Marshall died in the crash early Sunday morning at Highways A and 151.   A preliminary investigation shows Williams was driving an SUV southbound on 151 when it  veered across the median,  vaulted over the northbound lane of Highway A , landing on the southbound lane […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging absentee voting procedures in swing state Wisconsin. Thomas Oldenberg is a voter from Amberg, Wisconsin. 7-30-24 fdl bridge replacement projects

Several bridge replacement projects are on the schedule for the city of Fond du lac over the next few years.  City engineer Chris Johnson the first project next year is the Promen Drive bridge at Lakeside Park.  Johnson says construction on the Promen Drive bridge will begin next summer after Walleye Weekend.   Replacement of the Hickory Street bridge over the Fond du Lac River is slated to begin in 2029.
