GREENFIELD, Iowa (AP) — Multiple people were killed when a tornado tore through a small Iowa town and left a wide swath of obliterated homes, crumpled cars and splintered trees. Waupun, Wis. – At approximately 8:30 p.m. the city was hit by strong thunderstorms that were associated with a tornado warning in Dodge and Fond du Lac counties. Damage assessments are underway. An estimated 270 customers lost power in the central portions of the city. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Someone’s plans to harvest dozens of apparent marijuana plants grown on the Wisconsin state Capitol grounds have gone up in smoke. The plants sprouted in a tulip garden outside the Capitol building. SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac is launching a new training tool this summer.   Regional Manager for Clinical Education with SSM Health Wisconsin Region Mel Thompson says  the virtual reality training will be rolling out at SSM Health's three hospitals in Fond du Lac County for clinical staff.  Thompson says VR training will enhance and work side-by side with SSM Health's current training opportunities for caregivers.
