5-13-24 fdl man arrested following crash and chase

A Fond du Lac man faces charges following a crash and subsequent chase.  According to police a car struck a light pole and street sign on North Peters Avenue near Security Drive Wednesday and when officers arrived smoke was coming from the vehicle and  the driver refused to exit the vehicle.  At one point an officer broke out a window on the vehicle to extricate the driver if the vehicle started on fire.    The driver […]

5-13-24 fdl letter carrier food drive

Fond du Lac residents are helping feed the hungry.  The annual Fond du Lac Letter Carrier Food Drive was held Saturday.   Residents placed non-perishable donation in a bag by their mailbox and letter carriers  delivered it to a local food bank.  In the nearly 30 years the food drive has been in existence 769,000 pounds of food has been collected in Fond du Lac including more than 30,000 pounds last year.
