MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Department of Natural Resources has scaled back its preliminary nine-day gun deer season harvest. The agency said Tuesday that preliminary totals showed hunters killed 204,725 deer, about 5,000 more animals than the 199,583 they took during the 2014 nine-day season, the lowest harvest in 21 years. On Thursday, though, DNR officials said hunters killed 201,812 deer during the 2015 nine-day.

Two people were injured in a three vehicle crash on the Highway 151 Bypass in Fond du Lac.  Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says the crash happened shortly before 9am when a car was attempting to turn from the Bypass onto Camelot Drive.  Olig says the northbound vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle causing it to roll over , striking a vehicle stopped at the stop sign on Camelot Drive.. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff doesn’t want a convicted violent sex offender from Milwaukee County living in Fond du Lac County.   Sheriff Mick Fink says he received a letter from the Department of Health Services three days before Thanksgiving that Clint Rhymes was going to be placed at a  town of Eldorado residence.
