The Fond du Lac Advisory Park board is recommending approval of a conceptual plan for a new neighborhood park on the city’s southside. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted a special enforcement detail to round up people wanted on various domestic violence related charges. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the National Family Violence Apprehention Detail is desgined to serve domestic violence warrants and promote community awareness. Schmidt says deputies and local participating agencies conducted 44 arrest warrant service attempts and were able to arrest five individuals.
Area school superintendents are voicing concern about a proposed bill that would limit Wisconsin school districts’ ability to raise revenue. The bill would restrict when and how local school districts can raise money through referendums.
