10-28-15 domestic violence enforcement detail

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted a special enforcement detail to round up people wanted on various domestic violence related charges.  Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the National Family Violence Apprehention Detail is desgined to serve domestic violence warrants and promote community awareness.  Schmidt says deputies and local participating agencies conducted 44 arrest warrant service attempts and were able to arrest five individuals.

10-28-15 area school superintendents opposed to bill restricting referendums

10-28-15 wisconsin insurance rates increase under health care law

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The U.S. Health and Human Services Department says the cost of its benchmark plan on HealthCare.gov will go up less in Wisconsin than the national average.  Silver plan rates will go up 4.7 percent here, compared with 7.5 percent nationally.  The rates came out Monday on the website established under President Barack Obama's health care law. 10-28-15 school voucher enrollment up significantly

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Enrollment in Wisconsin's statewide private school voucher program has more than doubled since enrollment caps were lifted.  The state Department of Public Instruction on Tuesday reported that 2,514 students were enrolled in a voucher school for the current year.
