10-27-15 ripon man sentenced in counterfeit scam

A Ripon man convicted in a counterfeiting scam is going to prison.  The U.S. Department of Justice says 52 year old Robert James Zoellner was sentenced to a year and a half in federal prison and three years of extended supervision. The Fond du Lac School Board has adopted a 2016 budget.  The budget includes a tax rate that has been reduced to $9.88 cents per thousand dollars of property v alue.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says increased property values helped reduce the tax rate.  Forty one students are leaving the district under the state’s private school voucher program costing the district a preliminary estimate of $379,000.   Sebert says the […]

10-27-15 fdl man sentenced to prison for child enticement

A Fond du Lac man convicted of child enticement is going to prison.  Fond du Lac judge Gary Sharpe sentenced Gerald Devoe to a year and six months in prison and five years extended supervision.  Devoe earlier pleaded no contest to one count of child enticement with sexual contact.
