Fifth graders at Chegwin Elementary School recently enjoyed a tour of the Capitol in Madison. 10-15-15 man sentenced for shooting incidents in fdl, nfdl

A  Fond du lac man convicted of seven misdemeanor counts in connection with two separate shooting incidents  in the city of Fond du lac and village of North Fond du lac will spend time behind bars.  Fond du lac Judge Gary Sharpe sentenced Mason Paasch to a year and three months in the county jail followed by four years probation.  Paasch was also fined $1500.   Last week a Fond du […]

Waupun police are investigating the theft of two hand guns from a Waupun residence.  Police chief Dale Heeringa says the guns were reported stolen last Friday from a home in the 400 block of Carrington Street. 10-15-15 prostitution arrest in fdl part of a nationwide crackdown

A nationwide crackdown on human trafficking and prostitution has resulted in 11 arrests in Wisconsin including the arrest of a pimp in Fond du lac.  An FBI press release says two females, an adult and juvenile, in Fond du Lac were freed.  Arrests were made in several other communities including Milwaukee, Green Bay and  Oshkosh.
