A jury trial is scheduled for a Fond du Lac man charged in connection with a violent domestic incident.  Forty four year old Michael Retzlaff faces multiple charges including strangulation and suffocation, battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.  A jury trial has been scheduled for November 4th.  According to a criminal complaint Retzlaff choked a woman and used a hammer to destroy items in her home.  He fled […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — New financial statements show the University of Wisconsin System finished fiscal year 2014-15 with almost $924 million on hand. The system released reports showing its four-year schools, two-year campuses, UW-Extension and system administration had $923.9 million on hand when the fiscal year ended June 30. That's down from $973.3 million at the previous fiscal year's end.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court won't hear an appeal from a former aide to Wisconsin Gov. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Madison attorney Claude Covelli has applied for an appointment to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, saying he is "truly nonpartisan."  The 68-year-old Covelli said Monday he submitted an application to Gov.
