MILWAUKEE (AP) — The number of cyclists killed in crashes this year in Wisconsin is more than double last year. Nine people have died while biking this year, compared to four fatalities in 2014. Nobody was injured when a Waupun woman accidentally slammed her car into a house in Waupun. The accident happened Tuesday morning at 112 Elm Avenue. The driver, 69 year old Sandra Fretschel, told police she was attempting to park her car in the Waupun Memorial Hospital parking lot when the accelerator stuck. The car went across Elm Avenue, striking the house.
