Several construction projects underway or nearing completion in Fond du lac.  Community Development Director Dyann Benson says after a brief lag in construction the Hampton Inn project is almost done.  The Meadows Senior apartment complex on Rolling Meadows Drive is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year; and the contractor is setting roof trusses on the Mercury Marine expansion project.

The city of Fond du Lac is asking the state Public Service Commission for permission to increase water rates.  City officials say the proposal increases water rates for the typical residential customer by 6.9%. 7-22-15 cascade man dies from injuries in fdl county motorcycle crash

A Cascade man has died from his injuries following a motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac County earlier this month.  Sheriff’s Captain Rick Olig says 56 year old Gary Wetor was pronounced dead Monday at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.  Olig says Wetor was involved in the crash on Thursday July 9th on Auburn-Ashford Drive just west of Highway G in the town of Auburn.  Olig says a preliminary investigation indicates […]
