One person received minor injuries in a two vehicle accident in Fond du Lac. The car versus semi accident happened on Highway 151 near Highway 41 shortly after noon. Both lanes of 151 were blocked until the scene was cleared shortly after 1pm.
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident Wednesday night in Dodge County. The crash happened on Payne Road near Taylor Road in the Town of Rubicon. A California-based sports production company is suing a Fond du Lac restaurant for airing a boxing match without paying the required fees. The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee alleges Sombrero’s Restaurant showed a fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley in April 2014 without paying a fee in violation of the Federal Communications Act. The violation carries a potential fine of up to $170,000.
A Fond du Lac judge has ordered a competency exam for a Ripon man accused of hiding his brother’s body. Investigators say Robert Diamentis placed the body of his 45 year old brother in a barrell at a residence on Olden Road after his brother died back in February.
