A  former assistant special education teacher at Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac has been convicted of sexually assaulting a special education student.   As part of a plea agreement 45 year old Dominic Carmona pleaded no contest to one count of sexual assault of a student by school staff and one count of child enticement.  He was initially charged with 14 counts.  A sentencing hearing is scheduled […]

7-1-15 fatal atv crash-dodge county

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal ATV crash.  It happened Tuesday night on private property on County Highway AY in the town of Herman.  Investigators say the male ATV operator was traveling north along a hillside when he struck an object causing a rollover.  The operator was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men convicted of sexually assaulting children in Dodge County have been sentenced to life in prison. Construction is on schedule on a new front entrance  at the Fond du Lac city county government center.
