One person was seriously injured in a truck vs. motorcycle accident in Fond du Lac. The accident happened shortly before 12:30pm Sunday at the intersection of West Johnson Street and Pioneer Road. The motorcycle operator was unconscious when rescue personnel arrived on the scene. He was flown by helicopter to the hospital. The accident closed traffic lanes around the accident scene for about three hours.
An engineering report says the cost to save an historic bridge at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park would be significantly more than replacing the bridge.
