TOWN OF WILSON, Wis. 6-22-15 serious injury motorcycle vs. truck

One person was seriously injured in a truck vs. motorcycle accident in Fond du Lac.  The accident happened shortly before 12:30pm Sunday at the intersection of West Johnson Street and Pioneer Road.  The motorcycle operator was unconscious when rescue personnel arrived on the scene.  He was flown by helicopter to the hospital.  The accident closed traffic lanes around the accident scene for about three hours.

The Fond du Lac school board will consider one teacher retirement  and several  resignations at their meeting Monday evening.  Twelve teachers including four elementary, three middle school and three high school teachers are resigning due to a variety of reasons.   Some have accepted positions in other school districts, others are getting out of the teaching profession.

REDGRANITE, Wis. (AP) — An 18-year-old Appleton woman has drowned in Redgranite Quarry in Waushara County of central Wisconsin.  Redgranite Police Chief Kyle Tarr says authorities got a call just after 6 p.m. Friday of a swimmer who hadn't surfaced.
