Four candidates have applied for a vacancy on the North Fond du lac School Board. The board will hold a special meeting Tuesday to interview the candidates and make a selection. The candidates to fill the seat are Sherrie Degner, Diane Mand, Melissa Will and Ronald Margis. A Fond du lac man charged with a series of home invasions has been found competent to proceed in court. Lucas Leffel is charged with seven counts of burglary and attempted second degree sexual assault. Police say Leffel admitted to entering four homes in the southeast side of town while naked last year. Leffel is being held in jail on $250,000 cash bond.
