5-13-15 death of fdl woman ruled traffic fatality

A Fond du Lac woman involved in what initially appeared to be a minor traffic accident has died from her injuries.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says Margo Lemke was involved in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of First Street and Park Avenue April 28th.   She died the following day from internal injuries.   Lemke was 77.  Klein says Lemke was driving on Park Avenue when a car struck […]

5-13-15 fdl man arrested for running “mini meth lab”

A Fond du Lac man arrested a year ago for running a meth lab  is in custody again for the same offense.  Police found materials used to make methamphetamine at a 6th Street residence on April 25th.    Police described the operation as a “mini meth lab.”  The same person was arrested last year for running a meth lab out of a Lincoln Avenue home.

5-13-15 madison police shooting-no charges against officer

A Wisconsin prosecutor says a white Madison police officer who shot an unarmed biracial man to death in March will not be charged because the officer used lawful deadly force.  Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne said Officer Matt Kenny had been punched in the head and feared for his life when he shot 19-year-old Tony Robinson Jr.  Ozanne spent some 25 minutes laying out investigative findings in the case. 5-13-15 fdl high school graduation rate slightly higher than state average
