5-6-15 fdl man charged with child sex assault

Bail has been set at $5000 cash for a Fond du Lac man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child. Fifty four year old Carlos Pacheco-Tapia, made his initial Fond du Lac Court appearance this week on a charge of repeated sexual assault of the same child.  The charge carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14th.   He  is accused […]

5-5-15 fdl street closure

Starting Friday the intersection of West Division Street and Brooke Street in  Fond du Lac will be closed for utility repair work.  The road closure is expected to last about a week.  Businesses on Division Street within the construction zone will remain open to customer traffic. Traffic to the businesses will need to use Military Road or Doty Street.  There will be no marked detour routes.
