(AP) — The state Senate's transportation committee has approved a bill that would clear the way for a 70 mph speed limit.  Under the bill, the state Department of Transportation would decide where to raise the limit from 65 mph to 70 mph. 4-30-15 brush fire out

Dozens of firefighters helped fight an out of control brush fire off Highway 45 north of the Lakeside Park west entrance Thursday morning.  Fond du Lac fire chief Pete O’Leary says the fire in Supple’s Marsh was reported around 8am.  The fire burned several acres and was out by 9:30am.  O’Leary says firefighters were working to prevent the fire from jumping over the highway and spreading to the west.   […]
