4-27-15 truck hits restaurant

REDGRANITE, Wis. (AP) — Six people are injured after a dump truck hit a restaurant in central Wisconsin.  According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the dump truck was traveling west on State Highway 21 in Waushara County when it struck a vehicle from behind at about 7 p.m. Friday. 4-27-15 sheboygan county man charged in death of 4 yr old

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A Sheboygan County man is accused of causing the death of his fiancee's 4-year-old son.  Thirty-one-year-old Armando Aguirre is charged with second-degree reckless homicide in the boy's death last week at the home the couple shared near Cascade. Hundreds of Fond du Lac area residents will be running through Lakeside Park today to benefit the YMCA. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Paul Chryst returns to the Wisconsin sideline as head coach when the Badgers hold their spring scrimmage Saturday. Chryst was hired in December after Gary Andersen left after two seasons to take the same job at Oregon State. A former Wisconsin offensive coordinator, Chryst came back to Camp Randall Stadium following a three-year stint at Pittsburgh.

4-24-15 man gets prison for robbing ripon pick n save

A former Ripon man convicted  in connection with an armed robbery at a Ripon Pick n Save is going to prison.  At a sentencing hearing Thursday, Fond du lac judge Robert Wirtz, sentenced 22 year old Cody  Schaffer  was sentenced to three years in prison and a year of extended supervision.  The incident happened last September 19th at Ripon’s Pick n Save.   Schaffer told police he used a toy […]
