A spring ritual is underway in Wisconsin. (AP) — A Minnesota man has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the fatal stabbing of a Wisconsin fisherman at Interstate State Park.  Bail was set Friday at $125,000 for 19-year-old Levi C. 4-18-15 fdl man convicted of child sex assault

A 51-year-old Fond du Lac man has been convicted sexually assaulting  a six year old girl.  A Fond du lzc jury found Monty Moore guilty of  repeated sexual assault of the same child.  The charge carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision.  According to a criminal complaint Moore sexually assaulted the child multiple times starting in the fall of 2013.  A sentencing hearing […]

A Waupun man charged in the heroin overdose of a Fond du lac County man has been convicted in a separate case.  Joshua Mulder pleaded no contest to bail jumping and operating  a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol content-second offense.  Charges of owi second offense, and a second bail jumping count were dismissed and read into the record.  Mulder is also charged with reckless homicide and manufacture-delivery of heroin. 4-17-15 man accused of vandalizing brandon memorial in court

A Sheboygan man charged with vandalizing a veteran’s memorial in Brandon was back in court this week.   Fond du Lac judge Robert Wirtz denied a request by Joseph Ross for a new attorney.  The 52 year old Ross is charged with criminal damage to a memorial that honors the dead.  A status conference is scheduled for May 1st.   Brandon police chief Tom Dornbrook says Ross was arrested in connection […]

4-16-15 fdl couple recovering from hwy 41 crash

A Fond du Lac woman who was injured in a crash on Highway 41 in Fond du Lac has been released from the hospital and her husband is also recovering.  Law enforcement said  Wednesday  that 69 year old Neelima Ingle and 72 year old Sudhaker Ingle had both received life-threatening injuries in the crash.  A Theda Clark hospital spokesperson said the injuries were not as severe as initially feared and […]
