3-16-15 attempted residential burglary in fdl

A Fond du Lac man is in custody following an apparent attempted residential burglary.  Shortly before 9:30pm Friday police officers were called to a residence on Morris St after a  caller reported two 2 males smash out windows on the home and possibly enter.   The caller stated he believed one of the male subjects was armed.  Officers searched the Morris St residence and did not locate anyone inside.   […]

Nobody was injured a fire that caused minor damage to a Fond du Lac apartment over the weekend.  Shortly before noon Saturday firefighters were called to a report of a smoke filled basement at 131 East Second Street.  Upon arrival fire crews found smoke coming from a first floor apartment with the occupant still inside.  Fire crews evacuated the occupant along with the remaining apartments and found a mattress on […]

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) — The former MetalFab property in Beaver Dam will be auctioned next month. Dodge County has owned the 140,000-square manufacturing plant since 1995 after foreclosing on it to satisfy tax liens. MacFab Metal Products has been leasing the building since 2006. 3-14-15 burglary suspect appears in court

A Fond du Lac man arrested in connection with burglaries  at  two Fond du Lac businesses has made his initial court appearance in separate retail theft cases.  Bryan Wanatabe is charged with misdemeanor retail theft and resisting an officer.  He is accused of thefts at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, DJ Food Mart and the Marathon gas station.   Bail was set at $500 cash.  He has not yet been charged in connection […]
