The driver of a pickup was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital with apparent non life-threatening injuries following a collision with a garbage truck. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the accident happened shortly after 6am Tuesday on Lake Emily Road near Buckhorn Road in the town of Trenton. That’s located between Waupun and Fox Lake.

OWEN, Wis. (AP) — A plane crash in central Wisconsin has killed one person and injured two others. OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — An accident on Lake Winnebago has taken another life. The Winnebago County Coroner's Office says an 8-year-old boy has died after he was pulled from the icy lake water Sunday. The child's father died shortly after their Jeep broke through the ice about 7 a.m. The victims were from Sussex. Authorities say the two were on the lake to ice fish when they broke through.
