Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue says the number of heroin overdose cases locally are on the rise. Firefighter-paramedic Joe Godalpske says Fond du Lac paramedics administered the heroin antidote Narcan 88 times last year, up from 79 in 2013. Twenty six patients had their conditions improve after being administered Narcan. The victims of a fatal traffic accident on Highway 23 east of Fond du lac have been identified. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reported Thursday that the state added 7,600 private sector jobs from November to December.
