A Fond du Lac man accused of failing to prevent his wife from abusing two children has avoided trial. A Fond du Lac man convicted of robbing the Speedway gas station on West Johnson Street is going to prison.  Fond du Lac judge Dale English sentenced 59 year old Paul Tennis Jr. to three years in prison followed by three years extended supervision.   Tennis was also ordered to pay restitution and write a letter of apology.  Tennis pleaded no contest last fall to an amended charge of robbery […]

(AP) — The board that oversees Wisconsin elections has decided to ask lawmakers to overhaul the state's campaign finance laws.  The Government Accountability Board unanimously approved a resolution Tuesday asking the Legislature to launch a complete review and revision of the statutes.
