The DNR says state residents and businesses are recycling more…and that appears to be the case in Fond du Lac as well. Statewide residents and businesses recycled about 831,000 tons of paper products and food and beverage containers last year…up 79,000 tons from 2012. Fond du lac Public Works Director Jordan Skiff says nearly 3,000 tons of recycled material was collected locally last year.
