The Fond du lac city council has approved a budget that includes a 5.4 percent increase in the tax rate and does not dip into the city’s fund balance. Two new Fond du Lac businesses are opening to the public this month. The Fond du Lac city council Tuesday night approved a fermented malt beverage license for Love’s Truck Stop on West Pioneer Road. A convenience store at the truck stop will open November 20th. Panera Bread near the Fond du Lac Forest Mall will also be open for business this month.
