The Fond du lac High School Police resource officer is investigating two separate fires that were set in bathrooms at the high school this week.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the fire department was called Monday to a report of fires set in two of the boys bathrooms.  O’Leary says the fires were minor and did not cause any damage to the bathrooms.  The school was not evacuated.  But O’Leary […]

11-12-14 milwaukee man arrested for fdl burglaries

A Milwaukee man faces charges in connection with two business break-ins in Fond du Lac.  Police arrested the 59 year old man over the weekend for burglaries at Rocky Rococo pizza and Wegner Office supply.  Police say an undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the burglaries that occurred on November 8th.

(AP) — A Democratic state representative from central Wisconsin is conceding she lost her seat in last week's elections.  Preliminary results from Tuesday's contests showed 85th Assembly District incumbent Mandy Wright of Wausau trailing Republican challenger Dave Heaton by 86 votes.
