11-11-14 dust collector fire at merc

On Monday November 10 , 2014 at 2:36 p.m.  the Fond du Lac Fire Department responded to a report of building evacuation for unknown reason at Plant 98 at Mercury Marine.  Upon arrival fire crews were met by plant personnel who reported that a fire had occurred in a dust collection system which is connected to the building.   The automatic fire sprinkler activated and extinguished the fire. “The fire […]

11-11-14 waupun man arrested after accidentally discharging high powered rifle in apartment

Nobody was injured when a high powered rifle accidentally discharged in a Waupun apartment over the weekend.  Police chief Dale Heeringa says officers were called to the Whispering Oaks apartment complex at 450 E. 11-11-14 preliminary hearing scheduled in berlin double homicide

A preliminary hearing will be held next month  for the Berlin man accused killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend.  The hearing is scheduled for December 2nd in Green Lake County Circuit Court for 33 year old Nicholas Tuinstra on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.   Tuinstra is accused of shooting to death Melissa Tuinstra and Justin Daniels, both 28 on September 27th.   The Tuinstras filed for divorce […]
