Ripon school district voters have approved a major building referendum. Sixty five percent of voters said yes to the $29.1 million referendum to upgrade the high school and build a new middle school next to the high school. OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — The FBI is investigating a University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh student after two professors became concerned that he might be trying to make the deadly toxin ricin. The investigation came to light when a search warrant was filed in Winnebago County Circuit Court. Ricin is a powdery substance that can cause respiratory failure if inhaled.
