Dodge County sheriff's officials say a Rottweiler that killed a 7-year-old boy was owned by his family. The dog attacked Logan Meyer last Friday evening at a Town of Hustisford residence. A 911 caller said the boy was bleeding profusely. Authorities say dispatchers talked the child's mother through CPR. The boy died at the scene despite life-saving efforts by first responders from several agencies.
Fond du Lac parks officials say a fawn probably died after being gored by a buck in the deer pen at Lakeside Park over the weekend.
