10-28-14 dodge county dog mauling

Dodge County sheriff's officials say a Rottweiler that killed a 7-year-old boy was owned by his family.  The dog attacked Logan Meyer last Friday evening at a Town of Hustisford residence.  A 911 caller said the boy was bleeding profusely. Authorities say dispatchers talked the child's mother through CPR. The boy died at the scene despite life-saving efforts by first responders from several agencies.

Fond du Lac parks officials say  a fawn probably died after being gored by a buck in the deer pen at Lakeside Park over the weekend.  A citizen called police to report what appeared to be a dead deer in the pen.  Police investigated and discovered what they thought looked like a possible bullet wound to the fawn.  But parks officials say its more likely that the fawn was accidentally […]

10-28-14 rock county judge announces run for state supreme court

10-27-14 two people seriously injured in fdl county motorcycle accident

Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Fond du lac County.  Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Vista Drive near Lakeview Road shortly after 5:30pm Saturday.  The accident happened when the motorcycle went on the gravel shoulder and the operator lost control.  The operator, a 49 year old Adell man and his wife were injured.  Neither party was wearing a helmet.  Both subjects were flown by […]

A truck versus farm tractor accident in Fond du Lac County seriously injured a Waupun man.  Sheriff’s sergeant Jeff Bonack says the accident happened shortly before 6am Saturday on County Highway T in the town of Lamartine when the pickup rear ended the tractor.  The pickup truck driver, a 51 year old Waupun area man was flown by helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries.  The tractor operator, […]
