3-5-24 staff assault at columbia correctional institution

The state Department of Corrections is investigating a staff assault at Columbia Correctional Institution.  Sources tell WFDL news a female correctional officer was stabbed by an inmate Sunday at the Columbia prison.  Details were not released and her condition is not immediately known.  The inmate was transferred to the Waupun prison.
