9-8-14 fdl man sentenced to prison in belt buckle shooting incident

A Fond du lac man convicted in a shooting incident where a bullet deflected off an innocent bystander’s belt buckle is going to prison.  At a hearing Friday Fond du lac judge Dale English sentenced 34 year old William Wilcox to 10 years in prison followed by five years extended  supervision.  Wilcox was earlier convicted of first degree recklessly endangering safety and causing injury by negligient use of a weapon. The Johnson Street Bridge will have temporary lane restrictions between Military Road and Hickory Street. WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin father has started serving a six-month jail sentence for praying over his dying daughter in 2008 instead of seeking medical help for her.  Fifty-two-year-old Dale Neumann of Weston was convicted along with his wife, Leilani, of second-degree reckless homicide in the death of their 11-year-old daughter Madeline.  A supervisor says that Dale Neumann arrived at jail Monday.  The parents were sentenced in 2009 to six […]
