MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Governor Scott Walker's administration has warned the Forest County Potawatomi tribe that it could lose about 2,000 slot machines if it succeeds in withholding its $25 million annual payment to the state. The Potawatomi say they're withholding the money because the state may end up owing the tribe money if Walker approves the Menominee tribe's proposed Kenosha casino.

8-29-14 campbellsport teen pleads not guilty in attack of sheriff’s deputy

A Campbellsport teenager accused of trying to disarm a sheriff’s deputy has  pleaded not guilty.  Nineteen year old Tanner Gremminger was arraigned in Fond du lac County Circuit Court Thursday on charges of battery to an officer,  disarming a police officer and obstructing.  Gremminger is accused of pointing a taser at sheriff’s deputy Paul Metzger after the deputy was allegedly struck by 22 year old Colton O’Brien of Eden.  Gremminger […]
