A convicted child sex offender is charged with child abuse and an infant is in critical condition at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.   Judge Richard Nuss ordered $500,000 cash bail for 34 year old Jason Shifelbine following an initial court appearance Monday.  Similar charges filed against Shifelbine were dismissed in 2009 on a motion by former District Attorney Dan Kaminsky.
