A Fond du Lac man has been convicted in the stabbing death of a Fond du Lac woman. A jury has found Gary Davis guilty of First Degree Intentional Homicide in the November 2022 death of 51 year old Jacquelyn Rooney. One person was killed in a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on Interstate 41 near Appleton. The crash happened shortly after 8am Friday on southbound 41 near Meade Street. According to the State Patrol witnesses reported a pedestrian was exited a vehicle and ran into the path of an oncoming commercial vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
