MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) — Police say a Wisconsin man has died while participating in the Ore to Shore Bike Race in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  Police in Marquette say they responded Saturday afternoon to a call from a family member reporting the man was overdue at the finish line and investigators found his body just off the race course. 8-11-14 christenson named new green lake county da

An assistant district attorney in the Fond du Lac County DA’s Office has been named the new Green Lake County DA.  Gov. Scott Walker has appointed Fond du Lac County Assistant District Attorney Andrew Christenson to the post.  He will replace outgoing District Attorney Kyle Sargent. Christenson has served in the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office since 2008.

More than a half-million people from 69 different countries attended the E-A-A AirVenture show in Oshkosh this year. Spokesman Dick Knapinski says attendance numbers are up around five-and-a-half-percent from last year.   He says the largest crowds came for the Air Force Thunderbirds on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, especially since it was their only appearance in the state this year.
