On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at approximately 4:32 PM, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Campbellsport Fire Department responded to N3647 Red Oak Dr. in the Town of Osceola for a house fire.  The house was currently under construction and was vacant at the time of the fire.  The house is considered a total loss.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fond du […]

Traffic Deaths Down in Wisconsin Last Month

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Transportation officials say 39 people were killed in Wisconsin traffic crashes last month, the second-lowest figure for a month of July since 1937. The state Department of Transportation says last month's figure represents 18 fewer deaths than in July of last year, and 19 fewer than the five-year average for the month of July. Scott Walker's 2012 recall campaign and a host of conservative groups are arguing they're immune from lawsuit seeking to halt the probe.
