MILWAUKEE (AP) — A federal appeals court has revived a lead paint lawsuit in Wisconsin, which could also reactivate more than 170 other lead poisoning cases. The appeals court reversed a ruling by a federal judge who in 2010 threw out a case involving a Milwaukee boy who suffered lead poisoning and sued six paint manufacturers. 7-26-14 mink pelts-wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin continues to lead the nation in the production of mink pelts. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says Wisconsin produced 1.13 million mink pelts last year. That's up almost 8 percent from 2011. Two-thirds of Wisconsin's mink pelts were black and another 10 percent were blue iris.

7-26-14 alert construction worker prevents fire from spreading

A quick thinking construction worker helped a fire from spreading in Fond du Lac.  Firefighters were called to the scene Friday morning for a report of  a commercial building fire at 1674 Fox Ridge Drive.  Upon arrival the fire was extinguished.  Nearby construction workers observed the fire from down the road, rushed over to the building,  and extinguished the fire.   The painting contractor had cardboard and painting supplies stored […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has sided with police in two separate cases where cellphone data was used to track suspects.  The court's rulings Thursday came in a pair of homicide cases in Milwaukee and Kenosha counties.
