RACINE, Wis. (AP) — Racine County sheriff's officials have identified the people involved in a fatal skydiving accident. Authorities say 44-year-old Fredrick Platt Jr., of Racine, died Sunday afternoon when his parachute became entangled with another skydiver's canopy. A 13 year old Fond du Lac boy escaped serious injury when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle. The incident happened shortly before 3:30pm Monday at the intersection of Johnson and Doty Streets. The child received some minor scrapes and was treated on the scene.
