2-19-24 fdl man convicted in fatal alcohol-related crash

A Fond du Lac man has been convicted  in connection with a fatal crash nearly two years ago.  Adam Richardson has pleaded no contest  two counts of  homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration.   The charge carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision.   A sentencing  hearing is scheduled for April 29.   The crash happened February 26, 2022 on Highway 151 near […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Two senior employees at a Wisconsin corn plant have been sentenced to two years in prison for falsifying records and obstructing an investigation into a fatal corn dust explosion in 2017. 2-17-24 new fdl stem academy principal

The Fond du Lac School District STEM Academy has a new principal.  Roberts Elementary School principal Amy Kunstman has been hired to the post.   Before Roberts Elementary, Kunstman was an assistant principal at Theisen  Middle School.    Kunstman will continue her duties as the District Fine Arts Coordinator, a position she has held since 2018.  Ms. Kunstman earned a Master's in Education degree from Cardinal Stritch University (Milwaukee) and obtained her administrative license from […]
