2-1-24 dodge county sheriff says it’s fortunate nobody was hurt in high speed chase

The Dodge County Sheriff says a high speed chase over the weekend reached dangerous speeds in foggy conditions.  A DeForest man was clocked in  excess of 130 miles an hour early Sunday morning on state Highway 60 east of Columbus.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says fortunately the suspect eventually pulled over and nobody was hurt.  "Very unfortunate those individuals make those decisions to flee,"  Schmidt told WFDL news.  "Fond du Lac County (chases) […]
