1-31-24 tci inmate accused of killing cellmate makes initial court appearance

A Taycheeda Correctional Institution inmate accused of killing her cellmate last summer has made her initial court appearance.   Twenty eight year old Taylor Sanchez is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of 68 year old Cindy Schulz-Juedes.   Juedes was found unresponsive in her cell at TCI July 20th with head injuries.  According to a criminal complaint Sanchez hit and kicked Juedes because she was hearing voices telling […]

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old Wisconsin woman with killing a family's chihuahua while she was babysitting. The woman was charged Monday in Waukesha County with a felony count of animal mistreatment using a dangerous weapon. A Fond du Lac Good Samaritan is stepping up to help a Fond du Lac family who was displaced after a fire significantly damaged their home last week.  Nobody was injured in the fire last Tuesday at 390 Tompkins Street.  Amy Hunkins says the family, including seven children are staying at a motel until either their home is repaired or they find a new place to live.   Hunkins posted on Facebook that […]
