The local unemployment rate was down in the latest reporting period. The Dodge County unemployment rate dipped a tenth of a percent to 2.4 percent in November. The Fond du Lac County rate fell three-tenths of a percent to 2.3 percent. In the city of Fond du Lac the unemployment rate in November was 2.7 percent, down from three percent in October.
The Fond du Lac Public Library’s east-side branch closed Sunday, Dec. 31, but it will reopen again soon. The Allen J.
