A Milwaukee man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac. The chase started shortly after 8pm Monday when the vehicle exited Interstate 41 onto Highway 151. Ripon police have referred attempted first degree intentional homicide charges to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney's Office following a stabbing incident over the weekend.   Police say a 45 year old man is accused of stabbing and beating a 35 year old man following a fight early Saturday morning.  Both men were treated at a hospital before being transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.   The 35 year old was wanted on outstanding […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers on Monday vetoed a $2 billion Republican tax cut bill, calling it “completely unserious.”   Evers' veto was expected, as he opposed the GOP plan from the moment it was introduced as a substitute to the Democratic governor's own workforce development package. 11-21-23 serious injury crashes dodge county-update

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified two people who were seriously injured in separate alcohol-related crashes in Dodge County over the weekend.  Twenty five year old Vince Borchardt of Waupun received life-threatening injuries when his pickup rolled over early Sunday morning.  The crash happened near the intersection of County Highways A and S near Juneau.  Investigators say he was not wearing a seatbelt.  Shortly after 11:00 pm Saturday 31 year old  Justin Magsamen of […]
