Grove Street from Hickory Street to Seymour Street will be closed starting Tuesday, November 7th and remain closed through the end of day Thursday, November 9th. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to make a lead service replacement.

For a fourth year in a row Holy Family Catholic Community is providing a free takeout Thanksgiving meal for Fond du Lac area residents. Holy Family spokeswoman Sarah Razner says over 400 meals will be given out on Wednesday November 22. Parishioners donate food items and gather in the parish kitchen to mash hundreds of potatoes. Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution. A state Department of Corrections spokesman confirms the inmate was found dead in the prison's segregation unit Monday.
