For a fourth year in a row Holy Family Catholic Community is providing a free takeout Thanksgiving meal for Fond du Lac area residents.  Holy Family spokeswoman Sarah Razner says over 400 meals will be given out on Wednesday November 22.   Parishioners donate food items and gather in the parish kitchen to mash hundreds of potatoes.  St. Mary's Springs Academy students help package desserts for pickup and prepare food for distribution.   On the […]

11-2-23 waupun prison inmate death under investigation

Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution.  A state Department of Corrections spokesman confirms the inmate was found dead in the prison's segregation unit Monday.  The spokesperson told WFDL news no other details were being released and the inmates' name was not being released at this time.
