10-23-23 child seriously injured in fdl county school bus crash

One child was seriously injured in a school bus crash in Fond du Lac County.  The crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 44/49 north of Highway KK.  A preliminary investigation  shows that a school bus with three juvenile passengers was northbound on Highway 44/49 when the driver lost control of the bus, entered a ditch, struck a raised driveway before coming to rest in the ditch.  The bus did not flip or rollover.  […]

A new festival celebrating fall was held in Fond du Lac this weekend.   Residents gathered at Lakeside Park for Fondy FallToberFest.  The event featured several activities for kids and adults including horse drawn wagon rides,  kids costume contest, apple flinging course, and pumpkin launching.  Adult activities included axe throwing, kickball tournament and a beer garden, plus plenty of food options and live music.

SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital will be consolidating its dialysis center facilities in Beaver Dam and Waupun into one newly remodeled facility in Beaver Dam, off Highway 151.   The 7,900-square-foot facility will feature 16 patient care stations and one isolation station for high-risk patients.
