10-13-23 waupun prison inmate death under investigation

The state Department of Corrections continues to investigate the death of a 30 year old inmate at Waupun Correctional Institution.  The DOC says the cause of Tyshun Lemons' death is still under investigation by the Dodge County Medical Examiner's Office.  Lemons was serving a 16 year prison sentence for armed robbery.  Lemons died on Oct. 2 and is the second prisoner death at Waupun since a lockdown began on March 29.  Authorities say another inmate died by suicide […]
