10-12-23 fatal motorcycle crash investigation

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a fatal car vs motorcycle crash in Dodge County.  The crash last Thursday evening on Highway 49 south of County Highway E,  claimed the life of the motorcycle operator, 28 year old Steven Perez of Waupun.  A preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle struck the side door of a vehicle that was turning into a driveway.  A preliminary investigation indicated that speed was a factor in […]

The City of Fond du Lac Water Utility has scheduled bi-annual citywide unidirectional water main flushing to begin on Monday October 16, 2023.  The schedule for the flushing is as follows: Monday – Northeast Section, Tuesday –Southeast, Wednesday/Thursday – Southwest and Northwest. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin System plans to change its name to The Universities of Wisconsin by early next year, system President Jay Rothman announced Tuesday.  Rothman made the announcement at UW-Eau Claire.
